Christine Van Laer, PharmD, Clinical Department of Laboratory Medicine, University Hospitals Leuven and Center for Molecular and Vascular Biology (CMVB), Department of Cardiovascular Sciences, University of Leuven, Belgium.
Christine graduated as a pharmacist at KULeuven in 2009. Thereafter she specialized in laboratory medicine until 2014 with a specific interest in laboratory haematology and hemostasis. She works as a clinical biologist at the Haematology and Coagulation Department of the Clinical Laboratories of the University Hospitals Leuven. One of her responsibilities is automated haematological cell counting. In September 2019 she joined the CMVB laboratory to study the clinical relevance of novel genetic variants related to thrombosis and hemostasis.
