Robert de Jonge

Robert de Jonge currently holds a position as full Professor and head of the Department of Laboratory Medicine, and is vice-chair of Division 9 (Laboratories), Amsterdam UMC. He is an innovative and result-driven specialist generalist in laboratory medicine and a translational scientist in predictive biomarkers and personalized medicine. He is one of the Amsterdam UMC Principal Investigators. His research focuses on one-carbon, folate and vitamin B12 metabolism. On behalf of Amsterdam UMC he is leading the building of a regional Ecosystem in greater Amsterdam to facilitate integrated care and driving data-driven laboratory medicine.
