The team from BloodCounts! in Cambridge regularly visit Barts Health in London for our Haem AI learning days.
It is important for our maths and computer science researchers to understand the clinical approach to blood disorders. It has therefore been an invaluable experience to learn from clinicians at one of England's largest NHS Trusts.
So far topics have included clinical interpretations of full blood counts, transfusion and donor health, leukaemia, sickle cell disorder and haematological indications of infection.
